Investments in new waste-handling equipment permit us to recycle over 99% of material waste in our process, and Crusader is at the forefront of developments in eco-friendly coatings, replacing traditional non-biodegradable coatings and laminates used in a variety of industries. FSC® and SFI® Certified
Crusader has certifications from two independent, non-governmental, nonprofit organizations — the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®). Headquartered in Bonn, Germany, FSC® was established to promote the responsible management of the world's forests. SFI® works with conservation, community, government and industry partners to improve sustainable forest management in North America and fiber sourcing globally. Crusader continues to adhere to the highest standards of product quality and environmental responsibility. Most grades of paper and paperboard sold by Crusader, including many of our laminated and coated products, are available as FSC®- and/or SFI®-certified.
